𓀘 My goal in this New Year  was to share more about our amazing PTA and what they do for our TPS students.  This week, the middle school had the unique opportunity to have a presentation from an Egyptologist, Paulette Morin.  Paulette was an amazing presenter.  She brought her depth of knowledge about Egypt and her experiences from her 16 trips to Egypt. She also brought along replica artifacts to share with students and to teach them about the ordinary daily life of Ancient Egyptians. Students had the fun experience of wearing replica jewelry and headdresses, while learning about their significance and importance in the Ancient Egyptian culture. It was a fun way to bring this middle school curriculum to life for our our students.  Many thanks to the PTA and Mr. Ruppert for organizing this opportunity!

🏀Check out the latest copy of The Landmark for a story about our Lady Warriors! In case you didn't know, TPS has not had a girls basketball team in over 7 years!  I am so grateful for Melissa DuBois and Erica Martunas who took on the role of coaching our team this year.  I have seen such growth and improvement over the course of the season and I could not be prouder of this team. Our boys team has had a good season under the coaching of Jim Foley.  While it is hard to compete with the larger schools like CTMS and Mt. View, our Warriors give them a run for their money! Our Warriors play hard and improve with every game. I absolutely love watching both teams play. Check out their schedules on the TPS website calendar! There are a few games left!

♬Congratulations to our strings performers!  On Wednesday night, our TPS Warriors performed in a combined concert at Chocksett Middle School.  Joined with Sterling and Rutland, they played three pieces as a combined ensemble.  I am always blown away by what our middle schoolers can do at our music concerts!  They sounded beautiful!  "Impulse" was my favorite! I've been listening to them
practice it for weeks now, but hadn't heard it start to finish!  Bravo to Mr. Sjostedt, our strings teacher!

🕣Just a reminder that school starts at 8:25AM. I feel badly when I have to close the door and I apologize in advance!  We have a lot of Warriors that do parent drop off. I suggest getting here a bit earlier just in case you have to sit in the line.

🌟ATTENTION Parents of 7th & 8th Graders, please read this letter regarding the SOS program which will be taking place February 2nd and 9th!

Have a great long weekend!
