😃In case you missed it, the PTA launched their big PTA Fundraiser on Monday!  Mr. Motivation (aka Mr. Murphy) was here to pump up the Warriors!  So far the fundraiser is off to an amazing start.  I'm starting to worry that Mrs. Trainque, Mr. Cormier and I are going to have to hold up our end of the bargain by doing some crazy things! Did you hear that if the school sells 1,000 calendars that Mrs. Trainque and I have to be "on mute" for an entire day?  If 1,500 are sold, Boss of the Boss happens, which means Mr. Cormier is principal for the day!  For selling 2,000 calendars, Mrs. Trainque and I have to smooch a barnyard animal!  And finally if 3,000 or more are sold, Mr. Cormier, Mrs. Trainque and I will participate in Thomas Prince Pie-a-pallooza, which means we get turned into messy pies!  Every student will be able to cover us in allergen free pie toppings!  WOA! No matter what, there will be a lot of fun to be had!   The PTA wanted me to share the message below:

Hello from the PTA,

The Fall Fundraiser has officially kicked off! A special thank you to Mr. Motivation for kicking off our fundraiser with a high-energy, motivational assembly!

On Monday, your student brought home a red envelope with order forms and calendar raffles to sell now through October 16th. Every calendar purchased gives the buyer a chance to win a prize every single day in November.

Every dollar raised stays right here at TPS and funds enrichment programs, classroom resources, school events, field trips, school supplies and so much more for our students and staff.

If your student sells 15 calendars, they earn a TPS sweatshirt! Top individual sellers and top classrooms all win prizes. AND if the whole school sells enough calendars - Mrs. DiFonso and the admin team will have some silly tasks to complete (ask your students about barnyard animals and pie-a-poolza!)

A shareable student-flyer is available here for you to post to your personal socials or email to family & friends!

Check out this  Frequently Asked Question document and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions: tps.pta.calendar@gmail.com.

Don't forget to follow our *brand new* TPS PTA Facebook or Instagram accounts!

Thank you so much for your support!

👩This year, we have restructured our counseling department.   If your student is in grades k-4, Karli Buel (karli_buel@wrsd.net) is the counselor who will be your primary contact. If your student is in grades 5-8, Christine Rayner (christine_rayner@wrsd.net) will be your point of contact. Counselor assignments differ for students on IEPs or 504s. If you have any questions about that, reach out!

👀Check out the Electronic Blue Folder for the October daily rotation calendar and a flyer for a fun movie event!

Have a great weekend!
