Joyous noise!

What an incredible evening of music! A huge congratulations to our talented strings, chorus, and band students for their outstanding performances at the concert. Your hard work, dedication, and love for music were evident in every note, and we couldn’t be prouder of you. A special thank you to our amazing music teachers, Mrs. Brais, Mrs. LeMay, and Mrs. Indrelie, for your leadership, creativity, and unwavering support in helping our students shine. The growth and confidence displayed by our young musicians are a testament to your passion and commitment. To our musicians: Thank you for sharing your talents with us and reminding us of the power of music to inspire, connect, and bring joy. It was a beautiful evening that showcased the heart and soul of our school community. Bravo to all! 

The weather has been cold in January and I know I find myself excited to close the door during morning drop-off! Please remember that we try to get the kids outside every day. There are days when the temperature is too low or the wind chill is too strong, but if it is close we get them out. This makes for happier more, engaged kids in the afternoon and is also an important social opportunity. Please make sure your students come dressed for the elements. I know sometimes kids don't want to wear coats to school (it's a thing I guess) but if you can get them to bring them in the building we can pick it up from there. 

We were thrilled to welcome local author and illustrator Ralph Masiello to our school to meet with our kindergarten through third-grade students! Mr. Masiello will share his journey as an author and illustrator and provide a behind-the-scenes look at how he brings stories and illustrations to life. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to be inspired by a creative professional and to see how their love of reading, writing, and drawing can become something amazing. Thank you, Mr. Masiello, for sharing your passion and talent with our students! 


Congratulations to our Boy's Basketball team for their in-district win against Paxton this week! The team rolled 51 to 34 with Blake, Thomas, and Nico all leading the team in scoring with 8 points each. Go, Warriors!

Mid Summer!

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer! We are excited to have the kids back...just not yet. We still have some work to do. However, I wanted to put several things on your radars.  We have scheduled our annual  Popsicles on the Playground for   August 23rd from 4:00-6:00. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that the weather cooperates and we can actually have the event on the playground. I'm 0 for 2 so far in my tenure here! This event is hosted by the PTA and is an opportunity for all students to get reacclimated to the building and new students to get some nerves out and possibly make some new friends. This is also an opportunity to pick up new t-shirts. Use this link and order by August 14th to get them in time. All the things!

The Middle School started the week off with a special presentation from Mr. John Frost. He travels the world witnessing and documenting eclipses. He shared his passion with the Middle Schoolers and explained the coming eclipse to them. The kids left excited about this upcoming phenomenon! Just a reminder that April 8th is a school day.  The bus company has asked me to remind parents that any balls transported on the bus should be tucked into backpacks before boarding. Apparently, there have been some issues with loose balls rolling around buses and this can be a safety hazard. Thanks for your attention to this matter.  As you may know, our courtyards are maintained by volunteers. They are due up for their spring cleanup . Ms. Santello will be leading a group of volunteers to tackle the Bangrazi courtyard on Saturday, April 6th from 9:00-2:00. Help clean up the raised garden beds, rake leaves, weed, and plant. Fun full steam ahead!

As we wind down the month of October, next week promises to be a ton of fun! The Student Council has planned a Spirit Week for next week culminating with the MS Dance Friday night. The whole school is invited to participate in Spirit Week but the dance is only for Middle Schoolers. Remember that Thursday will feature a short Costume Parade at 9:00.
